| Special Thanks Vickie and Paul would like to thank the following, without whom "Someone I Love's an Angel" would not have been possible: First and foremost, the thousands of "innocents" who died on September 11th, 2001 in Washington DC and in New York. In a very real sense, they died for every single American. We must never forget their sacrifice, and the pain their families will have to endure for the rest of their lives. Sandy Bradshaw and all of the other heroes aboard United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in PA that day. They could not save themselves, but their bravery saved countless others, and reminds us that love, faith, and freedom are still worth fighting for. All of the fire, police, Port Authority officers, and other emergency personnel who so selflessly gave their lives so that others might live. Every volunteer who played a part in helping "pick up the pieces" after the attack. No matter what your contribution, you personified the fact that The American Spirit is alive and well. Myra Luna, Founder of "Letters of Hope", whose help and support was invaluable in launching this project. Medha Gargeya, Sara Outing, and Michael Vine, singers from Greensboro Youth Chorus, whose beautiful voices were the first to realize SILAA. May their talent reach around the world, taking sad children by the hand and offering them a way to begin to move through their grief and reclaim their lives. Sound Lab Recording Studios in Greensboro NC: Thomas Rowan, Chris Pennell, and especially Mary Dator who finally helped this angelic project fly. Lynn Donovan, Executive Director of Greensboro City Arts, and Tom Shelton, Director of Greensboro Youth Chorus who sent us Medha, Sara and Michael. Greensboro NC Mayor Keith Holliday, whose appreciation helped fuel the effort. ![]() Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, whose thanks and appreciation was particularly humbling. ![]() |
